had a dream of having my own horse since I was a little girl. Teri Garcin has been an integral part of making that dream come true for me. I took lessons from Teri when I first decided to return to riding as an adult. Teri was able to match my abilities and personality with the horse of my dreams, Sweet Pea. Teri also found a successful match for my husband, David, with his horse Journey. We are still growing and gaining new skills with continued lessons from Teri. We hired a horse trainer, and gained a life long friend. Thank you.

While on my search for a horse, I met Teri. I was responding to an ad I saw for Smokey. What a great horse buying experience. Teri was knowledgeable, experienced and very kind. I met Smokey and went on a ride to try him out. What a wealth of information Teri was/is. We talked alot about the type of horse I was interested in and she evaluated my experience. I have purchased other horses and the experience was not like this one. I will not waste time bringing those experiences current but will say, if you are looking for a horse-contact Teri! I felt that Teri's life long passion for horses surrounds her and it is authentic. I am grateful for meeting her and bringing home my life long companion-Smokey!

Sometimes I don't know where to begin with my praise and admiration for Teri. Went up to the Garcin's ranch to ride a horse for another interested party...saw Shadow. That was really it. Teri and Justy were so hospitable and inviting. Ended up going up to the Garcin's quite a few times, rode and helped Teri around the ranch. She is amazing. She really has an incredible way with her horses, her attitude and her general manner. Teri uses her varied experience with what works for each horse. She is very knowledgeable and has done a great job with Shadow. I have absolutely no reservations in sending anyone I know that is interested in buying a horse, training a horse, or just spending time with Teri, up to the Garcin's ranch.

What would I do without Teri Garcin? Having been a trainer and riding instructor in California's central coast area for the past 20 years, finding the right horses for my clients to buy is a big part of my job. The horse has to be safe, yet still a fun and challenging match for the new owner. I like to think of myself as a prolific "matchmaker" of the horse/human partnership, but then I have to realize that it has been Teri who found the horses for me! She has been without a doubt my number one resource for good horses for my clients since I was lucky enough to meet her about 10 years ago. She has found, through her huge network of friends and associates in the area, countless exceptional equine partners for my youth and adult clients. And they are all (that's ALL) still happily matched up! And she found for me my "perfect pinto pony", Cherokee, the mainstay of my youth riding program, be it a trail trials, game day, or a horse show.

Teri Garcin is also my number one referral for those wanting initial or additional trail training for their horses. With the endless and varying terrain on and near-by her and her husband's working cattle ranch, she can safely and wisely get your horse well broke to the trail. Teri is versatile, patient, knowledgeable (a lifetime of horsemanship in all disciplines), honest, and a lot of fun to be around!

I have the most perfect horse for me that I could have, and I owe it to Teri Garcin. Teri found a great mountain horse for me, and gave me time to get to know him and make sure he would work for me. Her relationship didn't stop once I bought Shadow. Teri spent time with me and my horse coaching us along. I depend upon my horse when I travel in the wilderness and he has always come through for me. We are going to do our first 50-mile endurance ride this year! I would recommend Teri Garcin to anyone who wanted to buy a horse that matches their needs. Teri is an honest and knowledgeable horsewoman. Kathleen Phelps
